Applications |
OCR (Optical clear resin) or LOCA (Liquid optically clear adhesive) is an optical grade adhesive applied to surfaces for lamination of cover lenses, touch panels, and LCD modules which are found on many everyday devices and situations, ranging from GPS systems, tablet PCs, medical devices, to industrial controls, and smartphones.
OCR can improve visibility and contrast ratio by reducing reflected light between the interfaces of cover lenses, touch panels and LCMs. OCR also maintains a high level of transparency, and is integral in strengthening other components and structures within a device, while impeding moisture from entering a device, or dew from forming within device panels or near touch screens. Furthermore, OCR has several advantages in its usage – these being that it can be used in hard-to-hard surface adhesion situations, and has properties that allow it to be reworked or repaired if necessary, especially when applied to large surface areas in automated situations, or for smaller repair situations.
From conventional glass to glass (G to G) lamination to one glass solution (OGS) process, Daxin has developed various types of OCR subjected to manufacturing process change. In addition, Daxin is providing advanced OCR product for car application which requires extreme conditions for environmental reliability tests.
