Applications

The switching of LCD pixels is initiated by changing electric fields of cells, thereby changing the arrangement of liquid crystals. When liquid crystals start to rotate under an electric field, the amount of light passing through the cell is controlled according to the rotational state of the liquid crystals.

Spacers maintain a constant height level at micron scales and precision level uniformity of cell gap dimensions for liquid crystals. Photo spacers also play an important role in providing acceptable elasticity and mechanical properties.

Process Method: Negative Photo Resist Process (Same as Color Resists)
